“All Together Now!”: An Ensemble & Performance Retreat Experience

This is a chance for you to get away from your day to day life and give yourself the chance to immerse yourself in a weekend of learning and sharing music with like-minded souls.
Our Fall 2018 retreat will begin Saturday, November 17th at 10 a.m. until Sunday, November 18th at 3 p.m.
Most of my students aren’t looking to have a professional career in music but want to be really good at it. While the skill level of my students ranges from beginners to intermediate players, the arrangements will be accessible to all with opportunities to strengthen your chops.
The retreat will be at Rolling Ridge Retreat & Conference Center in North Andover, Mass. The house was built in the 1920s and is on the shore of Lake Cochichewick and is a 35 to 45 minute trip from the city.
Your tuition includes:
1. Sessions with Janet
- Ensemble: You’ll learn how to create guitar and vocal arrangements with other players plus info on preparing for a performance. Everyone will be invited to perform 1 song at our Saturday night open mike after dinner.
(a $300 value) - Performance: We’ll focus on navigating stage fright, how to practice and choose which songs you’re going to play. This is for you whether you’d like to perform for your friends, start playing at open mikes or move in the direction of performing as a professional.
(a $100 value) - Songwriting: A session for people who’ve never written a song or have but would like to add to their songwriting toolbox.
(a $100 value) - Play a Song by Ear: A session on how to figure out a song by listening to it.

A private consultation with me. This is an “ask anything” session where you can get feedback about your guitar skills, songwriting help or discuss your music making goals.

Terms and Conditions (the fine print)
Tuition is non-refundable. If you cancel your participation in the retreat weekend by Friday, September 30th, 2018, your tuition may be applied to a future special event or lessons with Janet. After September 30th, your tuition is not refundable or transferable.
