“All Together Now!” – An Ensemble & Performance Retreat

“I attended Janet’s guitar retreat Fall 2017.  The weekend was filled with guitar, singing, writing songs, learning songs, calm, and friendship in a nurturing and encouraging environment.  It was a much needed respite from day-to-day responsibilities.

Last October I hosted my first retreat and everyone had an amazing experience

We did ensemble work playing songs by Tom Petty, Crosby, Stills & Nash and The Beatles and people had their first experience co-writing songs.  The results were AWESOME. We also added tools to people’s performing tool box and then got to practice those skills at our Saturday night open mike.

Our 2018 retreat will begin Saturday, April 14th at 10 a.m. until Sunday, April 15th at 3 p.m.

Most of my students aren’t looking to have a professional career in music but want to be really good at it.  While the skill level of my students ranges from beginners to intermediate players, the arrangements will be accessible to all with opportunities to strengthen your chops.

The retreat will be at Rolling Ridge Retreat & Conference Center in North Andover, Mass.  The house was built in the 1920s and is on the shore of Lake Cochichewick and is a 40 to 45 minute trip from the city.

During the weekend you’ll have the opportunity to play music with like-minded souls in a warm, fun environment.  People who participated in the last retreat have begun playing music together on their own and told me how delighted they are about being able to connect with other players.
